MIT De-Techified: Afternoon on the Charles

After one of the most stressful weeks I can remember in the history of my (admittedly short) life, and a brief respite from campus in the care of my family back home in St. Louis, I can now breathe again.  Sophomore year seems to have me wrapped around its pinky, but it’s the people, and ultimately the place itself that gets me through it.  A week ago, in desperate need of a break, I decided to take a walk along the Charles River, right outside my dorm.  I am a firm believer in the power of the weather to heal (almost) all ailments–certainly those of the mind– and luckily for me it was a gorgeous day.  For some reason, I also find photography to be therapeutic in a way, so armed with my camera, I decided to pretend I was a tourist, and not a student who had lived here for over a year.  Here are the products of Operation De-stress, which, might I add, was a definite success.  Enjoy!
